Bluetooth SIG Confirms Galaxy S III For Verizon and Sprint

A few days ago, we?ve seen both the T-Mobile and AT&T versions of the Samsung Galaxy S III approved by Bluetooth SIG. Now, we are seeing similar listing of the Galaxy S III handset for both the Sprint and Verizon networks and are now registered and approved with Bluetooth SIG for the Bluetooth 4.0 specification. Earlier this month, Verizon?s version of the Samsung Galaxy S III handset appeared in NenaMark benchmark test with model number SGH-I535, using the Qualcomm Adreno 225 GPU.

Bluetooth SIG has approved CDMA version of the Samsung Galaxy S III and the model number SGH-I535 also matches with the model number of the device pop in NenaMark benchmark test last week. So, this is source is enough to conclude that GSI is arriving on Verizon. Sprint?s version is SGH-L710 and it has been also spotted at the Bluetooth SIG. This is seemingly confirmed by leaked photo shots of the Galaxy S III, which also says that SGH-L710 is the model number of the Sprint branded Samsung Galaxy S III.

Samsung has yet to officially confirm that which mobile operator will get the Galaxy S III handset in the U.S. So far, the generic placeholders at Bluetooth SIG website have confirmed that all the four major will carry the Samsung Galaxy S III handset in the U.S., where it should be available starting June.
