Pushing his effort to help take care of Americans' health, President Barack Obama addressed issues regarding the Affordable Care Act on Monday (October 21).
In the spirit of the endeavor, the president was also there to lend a hand when a bystander nearly fainted during his speech.
Standing behind him as he spoke from the podium, pregnant supporter Karmel Allison became lightheaded and started to wobble.
Noticing the issue, President Obama turned around to steady her, telling the woman, "I gotcha, you're okay. No, no. You're okay. This is what happens when I talk too long."
Later, a White House aide escorted her off stage, but the expecting mom expressed gratitude to the leader of the free world on Twitter.
Noting that she's also suffering from Type 1 diabetes, Karmel tweeted, "I'm ok world- just got a little lightheaded. Thanks, @BarackObama for catching me! And good thing this pregnant diabetic is pregnant :)."
